Esther Honig

Morah Honig has taught Gemara and Tanach at Kohelet Yeshiva since 2011. After earning her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Stern College, Morah Honig studied at the prestigious Yeshiva University Graduate Program for Women in Advanced Talmudic Studies (GPATS) for four years. She also earned a Master’s degree in Medieval Jewish History from the Bernard Revel Graduate School of YU. She came to Kohelet as an experienced middle and high school teacher, having taught Gemara, Tanach, and Jewish law at Ma’ayanot High School in New Jersey, and the North Shore Hebrew Academy Middle School in Great Neck, NY. She also taught kallah classes in Manhattan, and a women’s Gemara shiur at the Mount Sinai Jewish Center of Washington Heights.
