Mark Levenstien joined Kohelet Yeshiva in 2018. He received his B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University. He worked as an engineer at Nitinol Medical Technologies and Becton Dickinson before focusing on statistical methods in genetics at Rockefeller University where he received his doctorate. Dr. Levenstien performed a postdoctoral fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering where continued research in bioinformatics. Throughout graduate school and during his fellowship, Dr. Levenstien taught short courses in his area of expertise as well as tutored students in high school mathematics and physics.
