Rabbi Menashe Benedict
Originally from Queens NY, Rabbi Menashe Benedict is a graduate of the Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem where he trained under the tutelage of Rabbi Asher Arieli. While in Israel, Rabbi Benedict completed the Ner L'elef Rabbinic Outreach and Teachers Training program, honing his innate people skills for the service of Klal Yisrael as well as teaching Torah principles and leading weekly study groups at the Hebrew University. He recieved semicha from Rav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg, as well as from Rabbi Yechiel Biberfeld. Since his move to Lower Merion about five years ago, Rabbi Benedict has been studying and teaching to the community at the Philadelphia Community Kollel and has since assumed positions teaching at Temple University and as the Meor program director and campus Rabbi at Drexel University. In tandem to his teaching at the Universities, he also teaches multiple times a week for 'The Chevra', a Jewish outreach organization for the young professional community in Center City where he serves as its Rabbi. Rabbi Benedict is very passionate about teaching Torah and is excited to share that passion with the Kohelet students.
