Liora joined the Kohelet team in 2020 as the Director of Community Engagement. She brings with her a wealth of experience in relationship-based marketing, social media management, and community building. Liora and her family moved to Philadelphia in 2017 from the DC area where she worked as a community consultant for the AARP Foundation, the American Chemical Society, and the BioBuzz Foundation. Liora was responsible for building and activating online and in person communities for each of these organizations. Before coming to Kohelet, Liora worked for the Pennovation Center powered by 1776 as the Campus Manager where she managed facilities operations, programming, marketing, and sales for a rapidly growing startup incubator. Most recently, Liora advanced to the role of Director of Community within 1776 where she facilitated talent acquisition, developed HR policies for the company, and served as primary contact for over 200 members of the incubator across 6 different campuses. Liora graduated with a B.A. in Classical Languages and Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park.
