Amanda Israel

Amanda Israel received her Bachelor’s Degrees in English with a minor in Jewish Studies from Rutgers University in 2008. From there, she went on to study Jewish Studies and Jewish Education at Tel Aviv University, and received a dual MA from Gratz College in Jewish Education Administration and Jewish Communal Service (2011). Before joining Kohelet Yeshiva, she served as the Communications and Logistics Director at Adath Israel on the Main Line (2011-2017), Student Life Coordinator at Kellman Brown Academy (2010-2011), Religious School Educator at Congregation Beth El in Voorhees, NJ, and as the Student Governing President of Gratz College for two years. She is a licensed Zumba teacher, and lives in Lower Merion with her husband and two children.
