Rabbi Joshua Friedman

Rabbi Josh Friedman joined KYMS from KYHS, where he served as Gemara Teacher and Beit Midrash Fellow. In addition to teaching, Rabbi Friedman serves at the K-12 Director of Athletics. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Yeshiva University, and received both the Fleishaker Award for Excellence in Talmud, and the YU Scholarship Wolf Campus Award. In 2014, Rabbi Friedman also earned a master’s degree in Jewish Education from Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration.  Rabbi Friedman studied at the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary at Yeshiva University for five years, where he served as shiur assistant in the YU Beit Midrash, and received his semikha from Rabbi Zalman Nechemia Goldberg of Jerusalem
