Rabbi Daniel Bauer

Rabbi Bauer joined Kohelet Yeshiva in 2013 as a Gemara and Tanach teacher. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from Lander College for Men as well as an M.S. in Jewish Education from Yeshiva University. He received semicha through YU’s Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary. After returning from Yeshivat Sha’alvim in Israel, where he earned a Bachelor’s of Talmudic Law, Rabbi Bauer spent five years teaching, mentoring, and coordinating activities for a variety of youth programs in Israel, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. He worked as a youth director in Bais Medrash of Bergenfield, and also spent a year as a rabbinic intern at the Roslyn Synagogue in Roslyn, NY. He served as a kollel member at DRS High School in Woodmere and a Beit Midrash Fellow at SAR High School in Riverdale. He is currently enrolled in a post-graduate certificate program in marriage and family therapy at the Council for Relationships in University City. In addition to teaching, Rabbi Bauer loves to sing, play sports, hike, and bake.
