Mandy Dustin joined Kohelet Yeshiva in 2015, bringing a diverse background in mathematics and physics education. Ms. Dustin earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology and English from Florida Gulf Coast University. Working as a teacher’s assistant at Naples Teenage Parenting Program, CCPS, Ms. Dustin assisted in instructing and supervising students under the direction of the lead teacher. In 2004, Ms. Dustin worked as a Student Laboratory Assistant at Florida Gulf Coast University, performing tissue culture techniques, immunohistochemistry, and purification of plasmid DNA. She went on to instruct mathematics and science at Collier County Public Schools in Naples, Florida. In addition to establishing learning objectives and creating instructional materials for Biology, Intermediate Science II, Earth Science, Physical Science, Algebra Ia/Ib and Informal Geometry, Ms. Dustin offered career and college guidance to students. In 2012, Ms. Dustin acquired an Upper School Mathematics Instructor opportunity at Scheck Hillel Community School. Here, she taught various mathematics classes, brought two new courses to the school, and wrote the curriculum for Math for College Readiness.
