Dr. Kim Maguire
With over 23 years of teaching experience in secondary and higher education, Dr. Kim Maguire brings a rich background to our English department. She received her B.A. in English Communications from Shippensburg University, a Masters of Education in Secondary English from Cabrini College, a Certificate as a PA Supervisor in Curriculum and Instruction K-12 from Widener University, a Masters of Liberal Studies from Villanova University, an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Teaching from Teachers College of Columbia University, and a PA Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility from St. Joseph’s University. Dr. Maguire has wide experience developing and writing curricula for various universities and school districts. She served as the Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment for the Delaware County Intermediate Unit, consulting to fifteen Delaware County school districts. Most recently, she served as the Assistant Superintendent for Radnor Township School District and assisted in the management of all district operations. Prior to her teaching career, she worked as a director, manager, and consultant in various Marketing and Communications positions.
