Dr. Anat Reizel
Anat Reizel was born and raised in Israel. Following graduation from high school, Dr. Reizel learned at Midreshet Lindenbaum in Jerusalem and then served two years in national service, teaching Judaic studies at secular high schools, and teaching deaf students. Dr. Reizel earned her B.A. and M.A. degrees in Hebrew literature and Judaic studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and her Ph.D in Midrash at Ben-Gurion University. Dr. Reizel worked four years in writing Hebrew and Jewish heritage curricula in Tal-Am, taught Midrash in various educational frameworks, and is now working in the research department at the Academic Hertzog College. Her book ‘Introduction to the Midrashic Literature’ (Hebrew) was published in 2011.
