Shelly Rothschild is a licensed clinical social worker with additional certification in ADD/ADHD education and advocacy from the American Coaching Association. She holds two Bachelor's degrees in Jewish Studies and Elementary Education from NYU, as well as a Master of Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Yeshiva University. Building on decades of experience as a social worker and counselor in Israel, New York, and the Greater Washington area, Mrs. Rothschild founded a private academic and behavioral counseling practice, Reach for the Stars, in Jerusalem in 2000. As a therapist and academic coach in Bala Cynwyd, she continues to employ the latest techniques to assist diverse learners, their parents, and teachers. She served as student affairs and family services coordinator for Jerusalem’s Mandel School, and founded and directed the Tikva Center for International Adoption following ten years as the Israeli coordinator of the Child Adoption Resource Exchange.
